CONSERVE IT FORWARD, USA
As a kid, ‘Frog Girl’ Avalon created videos on her canoeing expeditions into Florida’s swamps, advocated for wetland protection, creating backyard mini-habitats, banned the killing of frogs in biology class, and informed the public on ecocide caused by animal farming.
By the age of 12, she was living a life of explorer, citizen scientist, educator, campaigner – and why wouldn’t you and all kids do this, too? They may just need to see what kids can do in nature, and how exciting life gets when we actually get away from the dull concrete, beaten path and regulations – and get to set out feet into the queendom of nature.
Being an elf is definitely an advantage, since whatever hops away from ordinary people will patiently wait for Avalon to pick them up and stay on her hand for a caress and whispers of love. But it’s for sure that the more you learn to shapeshift into your gentle elven self, the more harmony you will experience with the magnificent beings creeping and screeching, walking and crawling, swimming and flying around you.
Avalon’s life is all about experiencing this beautiful planet to the max – with world travel, yoga, vegan diet, and those following her online even get to see her win world championships live via cellphone video.
Her life is moving so fast, we have a hard time keeping up! Where is she now?
Whatever, and wherever, a chat with Avalon on any of the topics and terrains she crossed will be enlightening and inspire you to discover this planet, and protect this planet, even more, in fun, creative ways.
